Truck Canopies

Our truck canopies and services bodies are constructed of 1/8" thick aluminum and are custom made for your truck or fleet at our shop in Calgary. We can build a one-off canopy or service body, but we can also handle small to mid-sized fleets. Because we don't keep canopies in our inventory, you know that your item will be exactly what your business needs. From adjustable shelving, to beacons and strobe lighting, to roll out Cargo Beds, we can build a unit or fleet you won't find anywhere else. Our canopies and service bodies also come standard with bulb seal door rubber to keep your equipment and supply storage weather-proofed. Owner Darin Cates was one of the creators of the "Nortruck" style canopy, having made hundreds over his career with Nortruck. His knowledge and expertise now lives here at 5052 Custom Fab.

A perfect entry-level unit, and our most popular style of truck canopy. These canopies are installed on truck bed rails to meet the tailgate. Units like these and our full-back models are sometimes called truck toppers or truck caps and are great truck accessories for your business.

When you order a full-back truck canopy, we will have remove the tailgate to your truck and will install two barn doors to your canopy to close off the truck bed. These units are also installed on truck bed rails, making them lighter than the full-floor model.

Full Floor Canopies

This model is a complete shell installed to the bottom of a truck bed. Because it is a complete unit on its own, the sealing is even better than our half or full-back models. These units can also have a rolling cargo bed installed which is a popular option. This is the most popular "Nortruck style" truck canopy on the secondhand market.
